Wedding FAQ for Eight to the Bar

1. What is included in the wedding venue rental?

Depending on which package, we offer full-day access to our beautifully restored historic venue, including the grand ballroom, cocktail space, private bridal and groom suites, tables, chairs, and access to our catering kitchen. Bar service and the Living Room are also included with all wedding packages.

2. How many guests can your venue accommodate?

Our ballroom comfortably seats up to 300 guests for a seated dinner or up to 400 for a cocktail-style reception. Our ceremony room can seat up to 220 guests. It’s on the second floor and not within the ADA compliance area though we do offer a mobile stair lift for those who struggle with stairs.

3. Do you offer on-site catering?

While we do not offer in-house catering, we provide access to our catering kitchen and welcome caterers of your choice. We’re also happy to provide a list of trusted local partners.

4. Can we bring our own alcohol?

All alcohol service must be provided through our licensed bar. We offer several customizable bar packages to suit your tastes and budget, including hosted and cash bar options. All bar services include an 18% gratuity.

5. What are your rental rates and what do they include?

Our rates vary depending on the day of the week, time of year, and event size. All rentals include setup and teardown time, tables, chairs, lounge furniture, and some packages offer use of suites and access to the beautiful ceremony room. 6. Is there a space for the bridal party to get ready?

Yes! We offer private, beautifully appointed bridal and groom suites with ample space for your wedding party to relax and prepare in comfort. Both are outfitted with a mini-fridge and can be stocked with your choice of beverages.

7. Can we have both our ceremony and reception at your venue?

Absolutely. Many couples choose to have both their ceremony and reception here. We offer flexible room layouts and offer a large, 220 seat ceremony room to keep the celebration flowing smoothly.

8. Do you provide décor or event coordination?

We do not provide décor, but we allow you to personalize the space to fit your vision. We can recommend talented local decorators and wedding planners who are familiar with our venue.

9. Is there parking available for our guests?

Yes, we have convenient, ample parking in nearby public lots to accommodate your guests.

10. Is the venue accessible for guests with disabilities?

Absolutely. Our venue is ADA-compliant and our main floor is fully accessible, with ramps and accessible restrooms.

11. Are there any restrictions we should know about?

We ask that all amplified music ends by 11:00 PM to comply with local ordinances. A full list of policies is available upon request.

12. Can we schedule a tour of the venue?

Yes, we’d love to show you around! Tours are available by appointment and normally occur on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Use our booking form or Contact us to schedule a time that works for you.

13. How do we reserve our date?

To reserve your wedding date, we require a signed rental agreement and a non-refundable deposit. Dates fill up quickly, so we recommend booking as early as possible.
